Whenever this name uttarakhand comes,people will remember mussorie,nanital and kedarnath ,badrinath but very few people know about the village life of uttarakhand ,hows the life in villages of uttarakhand, not just beauty but the struggle also in hills.

Life in villages is very different ,where on one place people come from different places to complete one track in the beautifull hills ,on the other hand people living in villages are having their lifetime schduled track everyday ,they climb these tough inclination with such a heavy weight on their head .
Mostly in villages their work is based on farm for which they work hard every single day and because it’s situated in hills ,there are not much resources for irrigation and cultivation and then it’s become more tough to work in this situation .
There women are very strong physically ,they carry heavy loads and walk on these riskier confined path on hills at day and night.

In hills mostly you don’t care about time a lot they wake up too early and then started working till dusk .morning start with sunrise and sunset means ,times up.
Farms are is the shape of ladder makes it more difficult to carry the loads.

If you come to uttarakhand you will find a small sources of water called as dhara in most of the places these sources are water from ground or in Hindi termed as “mool ka Pani” ,mostly wherever you find these sources ,it will look a small temple like structure,and had purest water .
These are some temples which you find in lot of places in uttarakhand and people have strong belief that whatever you wish will be fulfilled.
