Dreams

Hey everyone, I hope you’re all doing well. Today’s blog is about adopting a “go with the flow” behavior.

It’s often said that our surroundings shape us, and this holds true the majority of the time. We spend a significant portion of our lives influenced by the environment and people around us. Constantly seeking approval or trying to gain the trust of those around us can lead us to act in ways that align with others’ expectations, sometimes without even realizing it. While this can be beneficial, it’s not always the best approach.

Going Against the Grain

Doing something different from the prevailing opinion can be challenging and may require you to go it alone. But is it worth it? Absolutely. Surrounding yourself with like-minded people is important, but sometimes being with those who think differently can also shape your commitments and career in unexpected ways.

I firmly believe that the people around you play a major role in your decisions and opinions. The support you receive can validate your choices and boost your confidence. Sometimes, all we need is one person to give us a heads-up, and suddenly, we feel capable of achieving our goals.

Building Confidence

Achieving something, even outside your usual field, can build confidence and trust in your abilities. If people around you emphasize that you can’t do something, prove them wrong. Deciding what to do is often the most time-consuming phase; once you’ve made your decision, it’s all about taking action.

The Power of Positivity

It’s easy to say “you can’t,” but it takes a lot to consistently say “yes, you can.” Each of us is looking to grow and compete, and only you can truly believe in yourself. Even small achievements can be steps towards bigger successes, so keep working towards those small goals. One day, you might share your story and inspire someone else with your journey.

Taking Action

Every day is important, and even small actions matter. Reading about your goals and planning your roadmap are crucial steps. Don’t spend too much time pondering; sometimes, just start working through your list and see what sticks.

Balancing Priorities

We often hear the advice to “do what you love,” but sometimes you have to do things you don’t enjoy to reach your goals. Priorities can change, and balancing work and personal life is essential. Don’t be too hard on yourself. Life is unpredictable, so focus on doing your best and enjoying the journey.

Finding Real Happiness

True happiness can come from serving others and being in a position to help. Working hard for your family is one form of service that brings joy. The satisfaction you get from seeing your family happy often outweighs personal pleasures. There will be moments when you won’t enjoy the things you buy as much as your family does. Sometimes, you might not enjoy eating at restaurants, but your family will. You might not feel enthusiastic about buying things, but your family will. At times, it’s not about the money but more about the fulfillment you find in what you are doing to earn it.

Just to add a few words, I used to take safer options while doing something. But in past fews years I have came to release that we need to take risk to achieve our goals. We need to take our chances and do our best. We need to travel in the darkness of woods because that where real learnings are, Where we stumble, fall and rise.
